The Valley Event Center is a 120-foot wide by 250-foot long completely enclosed building. The facility houses an artificial ice-skating rink used for youth hockey and other community ice-skating related activities for people of all ages from October to March.
The rest of the year the Valley Event Center provides a much-needed venue for community.
Rental rates for the Valley Event Center are set by the HiLine Youth Hockey Association board of directors and are subject to change.
Rates as of June 9, 2008 are:
Lobby area - less than 4 hours = $50.00; more than 4 hours = $85.00
Full building - non commercial rate - less than 4 hours = $150.00
non commercial rate - more than 4 hours = $250.00
commercial rate - $500.00 per day
Set up fee to move/arrange bleachers = $100.00
Use of tables and chairs owned by V.E.C. = $50.00 per event
Each user of the building must provide "special events liability insurance"
in amounts satisfactory to HLYHA.
In addition to the above rates, each event must pay a $100 cleaning/damage deposit.
